The Council has sustained some damage to our facility due to Hurricane Florence. Because of this our reopen date continues to be up in the air at present. We are diligently working to open the Council, but there are many circumstances which will take time to navigate.
We are in need of windows, new floors, ceilings, new lighting, and an audio system for the building. As we approach a resolution to the repairs and are able to safely resume regular working hours, the Council will update everyone via our email newsletter, our website, and our social media profiles. We have also posted an update for our Subgrant Applicants here. As always, you all have our thanks for your continued patience and understanding.
We hope that any supporters who are able, would consider being a part of our recovery journey by making a donation at http://bit.ly/donate2cfta. You can choose to contribute monthly or make a one-time minimum donation of $10. We will also have a number of volunteer opportunities available in our future. We will be sure to share information about that when we can.
In whatever way you’re able to help, your support of the arts in Onslow County is most appreciated!
We continue to hope all of you are recovering from the turmoil brought about by Florence. Our thoughts are with each of you as we all try to get back to some sense of normalcy. Together we are #OnslowCountyStrong!
